Ode to Isaac week!!!

Isaac's Birthday is Friday September 4th so I thought this week would be dedicated to my "Little Man".This is the day we brought him home. Wow I can't believe it's been almost two years...

Artist in the Making

This is Tiff's 3rd year with artwork in the Wilson County Fair. Her art is the one of the stamp with a Tennessee Walking Horse on it. This stamp went to the Mt. Juliet Post Office now it's at the fair. She is my artist in the making. She is awesome!!! Only a few selected art works were able to be on show case at the fair. These are pictures of all the school work from her school. WA Wright Elementary!!!

This is a chicken. REALLY!!!! Looks like a hair ball, but it won best in show.
The cows being lazy. There was some fighting and kicking but I liked these lazy ones!!!

I thought this was really neat. It is a horse made out of 1,070 horseshoes. It is in the Guinness World Records.
I could not be serious. Michael seems to be doing a good job though!!!

It's all in Bloom!!!

I love all the flowers in bloom right now. These are so pretty, but I dont know what they are called. These are planted under my patio.
These are the wild flowers we planted from seeds we got at Paulette's funeral.
This is a flower from bushes my neighbor planted, but its on our property line so I can enjoy them too!!
Our random little flower bloomed on my ground cover, thrift is what I think its called. It had already bloomed this year, but this little one showed up yesterday.
My Lavender smells so good right after the rain fall. Soon they will all be gone.

This was a jewelry booth I fell in love with. Very reasonable prices 3 necklaces for $12 and I got a pretty beaded bracelet for $1. Cant wait til next month to see if they have different things!!!

Angie and I thought this could be the perfect desk for a musician. Its an actual picture of someone's Gibson Guitar.
This is going to be Michael's next project. I saw this painting and thought Michael can do this for me Huummmm!!!! Different colors and it would look great in my kitchen.

My animals were very lazy yesterday!!! Must have been because of the rain, but my favorite was when I got up to get a drink last night and found Kayla (our cat) laying on Michael's laptop bag. It was like she was hiding from Michael behind his laptop screen. She knows she shouldn't be on the table. I love our animals, especially when they are lazy and not crazy!!!!

The clouds were looking mean today when the storm was hitting. I had to try to get some pictures of it.

My Bff's came over last night for dinner after work. We had a lot of fun!!! Our menu was Salad, Mexican Lasagna, Chips and white cheese, Lemon pie, and a Turtle truffle pie. YUMMO!!! Thanks Ladies for helping out, my flowers, and a visit on the patio. Well needed!!

My Aunt asked Tiff and I to make plans with her on August 16th. She wouldnt tell us what we were doing or where we going. All we knew was she was planning a day with us and it was a surprise. Well today we found out... We went and saw the play of Beauty and the Beast. It was a dinner show. The actors and actresses were excellent. The food was delicious.

My Aunt had a table reserved for us with a gift at our seats. She is amazing. Tiff, Jaycee and Michael received a doll as you see in the picture. My other Aunt, Gmother, and I got lotion and body scrubs. At the end of the show we got to meet and greet with the cast. Tiff had her picture made with Bell and the Beast.

Finally finished!!!

Well we have few more small things to do in the doorways but as far as wood WE ARE DONE!!!! No more cutting wood until 11pm WOOHOO!!!

It's amazing how different my house feels now that the carpet is out. It smells better and its even brighter in there. Maybe we will do the kitchen next?????

I was trying to change my blog last night and totally messed it up. As soon as my hubby has some free time he is going to help me repair it!!! Under construction now LOL!!!

Tiff had a school project to make a 3D model of a plant cell. Tiff came home saying she wanted to make a cake and only 3 people in the class got to do it out of cake. YAY for me!!! How did I get so lucky?

Well the pic is the final result of our project. I thought it was going to be one of those things where mom does it all, but Tiff totally shocked me!!! I baked the cake, put on the icing, and was there for her guide. She took right to decorating and had a blast. I told her watching "Cake Boss" all the time finally paid off. In the long run we had a lot of girl time hanging out together.

When we moved out all the furniture I realized how dirty my walls looked from little fingers being on them. So I took action today while Michael was at work. 11 hours later I have one accent wall in terracotta and left the other walls taupe. I love the freshness feel in my house right now. I almost feel like it's a whole new house!!!

You cant tell in the picture the color of the wall, but trust me It's beautiful.

Michael's work is paying off!!!! My new floors are looking fabulous and the house already smells/feels better. Thank you to Michael, He is working all day then coming home in the evening and installing my floors til 11pm. Sorry to my neighbors who hear the table saw til then :))

We are finally replacing our old dirty carpet for fresh new bright hardwood flooring. This is the before picture and Hopefully tomorrow I will have an after (Or at least midway point picture). Im so excited I cant stand it. Only one problem with updating the floor, now that I moved all the furniture out I see how dirty the walls are UGH!!!! Time to repaint :)))

We left for Florida on Tuesday night July 22 @ 1:00 am. We got there around 9:00 am. We had a great journey and didn't want to come home. The kids had a blast but fought alot too!!! :(( In the long run it was a great time with family and we got beach time. I'm already planning our trip for next year YAY!!! Thank you to our neighbor Angie for taking care of our furry kids while we were gone. We appreciate it!!!! (We have something for you too by the way)
