Imagination

My three year old's imagination...

I notice him putting all his cars on the blinds so I stayed quiet until he was done. I asked him Isaac what are you doing with your cars. He said "Mom they have to park in the parking garage while they're at work". (Mike works downtown and parks in a garage). 

It made me laugh a little thought I would share. Happy Friday!!!

Cavallino Mansion Bedroom Set!!

I've been wanting black furniture in my bedroom for a long time now. I have a black bed but have never LOVEd it... This one is Amazing. Very tall and chunky, plus storage... a girl can never have too much storage. I already have bedding to match too. I hope my day dreaming will turn into sweet dreams in the bed.

Party Rolls

This week on Monday Munchies I'm posting about the best ham and cheese rolls EVER!!! These guys are soooooo addicting. I've served them at several parties at my house and EVERYONE (kids and adults) LOVE them. They can be a little greasy if you put the sauce on top, but OH so YUMMY!! 

Here's the Recipe..

Ham and cheese Rolls

Ingredients:

Hawaiian Rolls

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1lb Hillshire farms brown sugar ham

2 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp mustard

2tbsp minced onion flakes

1 stick butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Melt butter, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and onions in medium saucepan. In the meantime slice rolls in half. Lay out bottoms of rolls on cookie sheet. Stack ham, cheese, and then 1 tsp of sauce on each sandwich. Put tops on rolls and put 1 more tsp of sauce on each roll. Bake rolls until cheese is melted.

Hot Hot Hot...

This year for family Vacation we went back to Mexico Beach, FL. We love it there!!! I LOVE it there so much I want to move there. Mexico beach, Port St. Joe, and Cape San Blas are located along the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle. It is called "The Forgotten Coast". It's so lovely there. One of these days I will live there!!

We got in LOTS of beach time this year...

Isaac LOVES being on the beach as well... So happy he likes the sand 

Him and Mike became explorers the whole week. They found sand crabs and blue crabs... Michael stepped on a sting ray in the ocean that caused and electric shock up his leg. We had dolphins swimming inside the buoys! Tons of fish nibbling at just about anything they could & Baby sharks swimming where we were playing. 

My little guy also learned how to swim on this vacation!! He was everywhere. So proud of him!!

We got in some family pics and I can't wait til Christmas card time... Teehee... Shhhhhh secret til then!!

The best family memories come from family vacations!! When else do you spend a week together in less then 1000 sq ft... Looking forward to next year. Only 329 days til we leave...
